In my last post, I promised to share what I've come to describe as my giant, crazy project schedule, with no less than 8 manuscripts on it. I've officially jumped off a cliff and gone to crazy town. Now, in fairness, Flying Saucers and Chrome Plate was one of them, so maybe we're not counting that one. The rest count, for sure, though. So let's list them out. Oh, and also, pay special attention to the author names. I've launched a new pseudonym, because, why not!? In order of launches, here we go:
- Stray Evidence - Mac Worden - Dec 1
- Drakon Prince - Re-release - Jamie McFarlane - Dec 1
- Bitter Lake Letters - Mac Worden - Dec 20
- Wizard Prince - Jamie McFarlane - Jan 1
- Dead Air at Bitter Lake - Mac Worden - Feb 1
- The Unexpected Fellowship - Jamie McFarlane - Mar 1
- Next Spaceship Mechanic - Jamie McFarlane - Apr 15
- Next Bitter Lake Letters - Mac Worden - May 1
- Final Drakon Prince - Jamie McFarlane - June 1
That, my friends, is crazy town.
Now, the good news is, I'm project complete all the way through Unexpected Fellowship. But I'm starting to write on Spaceship Mechanic #5 at the end of November, when I'm back from a SCUBA trip.
Now, you might be asking, who is this Mac Worden fella. It's me. A while ago, I listened to advice about how mystery and thriller readers don't like to read mysteries written by sci-fi authors. I have no idea if that's actually true, but here we are.
I'll post updates on all these projects as they get closer. So stay tuned. Also, if you want to get a jump on things, check out two of my newly minted websites:
Oh, and one more thing. If you stop by macworden.com and sign up for Mac's newsletter, you might be able to coax a free book out of him. No promises, but it never hurts to ask.
Nine books in about six months is a wild ride, and I'm glad to have you along for it. Some of these stories will take you to the stars, some to a lake with too many secrets, and a few to a place where dragons and wizards are in charge. Whichever way you like your adventures, I hope you find a few you love.
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you on the next page.
