When allowed, Google Analytics records general information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

Paid landing measurement

When an advertising link uses one of our approved source codes, the site records an anonymous landing count even if optional analytics is declined. This record contains only the date, the landing page, and the approved source code. It does not contain a cookie, visitor ID, IP address, device information, Google click ID, or the complete URL.

Newsletter signup

If you request the free books, the email address you provide is sent to MailerLite so Jamie McFarlane can deliver the books and occasional book news. After MailerLite accepts the request, the site records the signup page and whether the request came from a recognized Google Ads campaign or from otherwise unattributed website traffic. That measurement record does not contain your email address. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time.
